Objective:
To support colleges and universities in carrying out academic course work and provide the students with cultural experiences.

When & How long

Duration:
Fall (16 weeks during August to December)
Spring (16 weeks during January to May)
Summer (8 weeks during June and July)
Host Institute

Venue:
International Center for Management and India Studies (ICMIS), situated on a 10-acre campus located on the outskirts of Bangalore.
Courses

Typical 3-credit hour India-centric courses include, though not limited to, the following:
  • Introduction to Indian Religions
  • Introduction to Indian Music
  • Introduction to Indian Literature
  • Introduction to Yoga
  • Introduction to Indian History
  • Introduction to Indian Culture & Civilization
  • Introduction to Indian Language (Hindi)
  • Introduction to Indian Art

Field trips

  • Three field trips (of which at least 1 is overnight) organized during Fall and Spring
  •  Two field trips (of which at least 1 is overnight) organized during Summer
